Different strokes…

whore pluggin

Here in Texas we have a saying: “Different strokes for different folks.” Maybe elsewhere it’s the same, I dunno – but basically, it means you don’t get your panties in a twist over people who don’t do things the way you do them.

I’ve been following some of the comments and reviews on DEAD END, and I’ve actually been surprised. There’s been a lot of talk about who the main character should end up with, and everyone says something different. Even more so, there’s been a lot of reviews about what a ‘slut’ Alex is, even to the point of saying she has sex with everything but the animals. (Uh, just to clarify – while Alex does a lot of heavy flirting, she actually only has sex with TWO men in the entire series, Calen and Banker.)

But as Fred points out in that story, “everyone loves someone they shouldn’t, maybe even more than once.”

So now, I’m curious… Do you believe this is true? Do you think a person has to end up with a single someone or do you believe that grown adults can learn to open their hearts and love each other for all their differences? And have you ever experienced feeling of loving someone you shouldn’t – or of loving a certain someone while also loving someone else in a different but still ‘full’ way?

I am from your area of Texas and I fully agree with you. DSDF. Everyone should be allowed an opinion but I love your stories and I think they were amazing. Awesome. and excellent writings. I loved your Alex character because what happen to her is something that happens to people.

Not sure about the multiple relationship part. I do agree you can love more than one person at the same time but in different ways, it’s bound to get sticky if there is sex and intimacy involved. But for the story, it’s all good. Just a story, we can all fantasize can’t we?

I am a one guy kind of girl but I do have my fantasies!!! I wouldn’t mind an ending where the three of them are in an open relationship but that should not happen because they are both alpha males. I am leaning towards Banker. I hope he wins out in the end. He obviously cares for her since he travels the world to keep her safe.

I have always been a person who roots for the bad guy to turn good and win the girl. In this book I really do think calen is in love with alex more than banker, I don’t like that alex has sleep with both the guys but I feel that if she hadn’t been pressured by banker she would have stayed true to Calen. What I might suggest is write the final book with two endings and let the public buy fthe book with the ending that they want.

I think it’s perfectly acceptable to love more than one person and open relationships aernt that unheard of and I even know a few people in open relationships that have been working for years. You just have to be and adult and communicate.
